At Pentrefelin, we rear a traditional heritage breed of cow developed in the late 1800s-celebrated for its dual-purpose qualities. These cattle thrive on a 100% grass-fed diet and are perfectly suited to our micro dairy system, producing rich, nutrient-dense milk and beautifully marbled, flavourful beef.
The beef in these boxes comes from male calves born and raised right here on the farm. These steers are reared slowly on pasture as part of our low-input, regenerative approach to farming. The result is exceptional quality beef with depth of flavour and integrity you can taste.
We’re expecting our next batch of beef boxes to be ready at the end of July 2025 (exact date to be confirmed).
Large Box
4 x Prime Steaks (Fillet, Ribeye, Sirloin or Rump)
2–2.5kg Roasting Joint (Topside, Silverside, Brisket or another slow roasting cut)
This may be one large joint or two smaller ones (1–1.5kg each)
1kg Braising Beef (e.g. Shin, Chuck, Short Rib or LMC)
4 x 500g packs of Mince or Diced Beef
Small Box
2 x Prime Steaks (Fillet, Ribeye, Sirloin or Rump)
1 x Roasting Joint (1–1.5kg – Topside, Silverside, Brisket or slow roast cut)
500g Braising Beef (e.g. Shin, Chuck, Short Rib or LMC)
2 x 500g packs of Mince or Diced Beef
Please note: Box contents may vary slightly depending on how the carcass balances, but you’ll always receive a fair mix of premium cuts, slow-cook favourites, and everyday staples.
