OUR HERITAGE
Red Poll Cattle & Welsh Grass
Our beef comes from Pentrefelin's own Red Poll cattle, raised on a 100% grass-fed system in North Wales. We rear the cattle slowly, with calves staying with their mothers as part of our wider cow-and-calf dairy system. Producing beef is an important part of making good use of the animals in that system, while keeping animal welfare, practical farming and the food we produce in view.
