Because our cows are all 100% grass fed, it makes it quite dificult to fatten cows over winter when there isnt much grass growing in the fields. Thats why we dont have beef for sale until April.
Our beef is from cattle born and reared here at Pentrefelin, a heritage breed of cow, the Red Polls thrive here on a 100% pasture diet containing a variety of grasses, legumes and herbs.We utilise the whole carcess ensuring zero waste, so expect your box to contain premium steaks and roasting joints, along with more traditional cuts such as shin, short ribs and brisket.

Unfortunate two of our local slaughterhouses in North Wales have recently closed down, leaving us in a difficult position. We’ve managed to find another slaughterhouse and cutting plant to work with but can’t be fitted in until the end of May.
