Pentrefelin Sorento
Great news, our ridden stallion Pentrefelin
Sorento and Leweane Ennett have had a busy few weeks.
They were:
Supreme champion at NPS area 27
Champion at North West Native Breed Show
Champion at Bakewell Show today.
He is a real star and loves his job.
Pentrefelin Bodecia.
Royal International Show
Pentrefelin Bodecia was placed 2nd in a very
strong class at the Royal International Show. Well done to Jackie Shaw and
Sarah Leatherbarrow for a fantastic effort.
Won again at her 2nd show, at last weekends
BSPS area 2A show and qualified for the BSPS Champs, well done and thank you
team Simcox for another great result.
Pentrefelin Playboy
Playboy was a very respectable 6th at this
weeks Royal Welsh show, despite not being quite the judges type, well done
Stephen and Beth and of course the lovely Playboy.
Pentrefelin Sanguinetti at
Fontainblaeu, at the French National Championships
Cheshire County and Staffs County Festival
Pentrefelin Bodecia was pulled
on top in the HOYS qualifier at Cheshire but dropped to 4th due to her
having a bad case of the fidgets in line. She was placed 4th in the HOYS
qualifier at Staffs festival. She has already qualified for the RIHS. Her
dam Rosina is scanned again in foal to Wyken Rob Roy.
Pentrefelin Sorento was placed
5th on the HOYS qualifier at Staff festival.
Clwyd WPCS
Pentrefelin Treasure ( Gwyrfach
Gideon x Synod Glanwenna ) was section C champion and won the medal at the
Clwyd WPCS show. Her dam Glanwenna has had a lovely chestnut full sister to
Treasure this year called Pentrefelin Lulu.
Northleach Show
Pentrefelin Nantucket
Pentrefelin Nantucket and Bev Hodinott where 3rd in the
Section D Workers at their first attempt. They where also 3rd in the Section
D Intermediate ridden. Well Done we knew you could do it if you tried!!!
Pentrefelin Bonnie Prince Charlie
was 2nd in the section d HOYS Qualifier with his new rider Lucy Rushton.
Pentrefelin Darcy Bussle.
Darcy and Alison attended their first ridden
show having only been recently broken, they won the mixed Novice M&M ridden
and where ridden champions then went on to be supreme of the show!!!!
I have to say they really made my day as I really love
this little pony

Well Done to Amy and Bev Simcox on qualifying our
Pentrefelin Consuella at her first ever outing under saddle at Clumber park.
what a star she won her class and was reserve ridden champion. Thanks to all
concerned.

has Qualified for the Royal International Show on her first outing of
2010, well done Bodie.
Pentrefelin Darcy Bussle
Scottish Welsh Spring Show, Darcy
has gone to Scotland leased by Alison Moran to pursue a ridden career,
but after just a few days with her new handler has won the section C
medal at the Scottish Welsh Spring show. Now its time to settle down to
serious work and no more partying!!!

Our section C mare has produced a delightful filly,
Pentrefelin Lulu by Gwyrfach Gideon, she is
Chestnut with 4 matching white stockings and a blaze. We are very
pleased with her.

We were delighted to take ponies to Dr Wynne's open day.
Here are some lovely photos taken on the day of Ceulan Menna (dam of
Abergavenny Andrea) and her colt foal Pentrefelin Playtime by Haverford Walk
in the Clouds. (For Sale). and our lovely Barren mare Pentrefelin
Dollymixture, dam of many times champion Pentrefelin Playboy and Lampeter
winner Pentrefelin Playmate.

County Show
Pentrefelin Bodecia
was 2nd in a very strong HOYS qualifier at Cheshire County
Show, to her half sister Wyken Lady Jasmine. We are all thrilled with this
little Lady in her first year under saddle.
Pentrefelin Sorrento ( Dennis
) was 6th in his section of the HOYS qualifier at Cheshire County Show, in a
very big class.
Friday 19th June. Three
Counties Show
Pentrefelin Sorrento (
Dennis ) was 7th in the HOYS qualifier at Three Counties ( where
due to a mix up with marks should have been 5th as he had the highest ride
mark ). Well done Lewanne and Dennis.
We bred 3 entries in this qualifier ( Sorentto, Charlie
and Enfys, pictured below ), and used to own another ( Thorndonpark Jet ).
It was very good to see them all in one place. Well done all I am very proud
of my boys.
Castlemead Zara. We have
acquired a new 4 yr old section A mare, by Beymark Stephen and out of
Llanarth Daytime. She has a lovely front and tail set and is a fabulous
mover. She is made to go under saddle and will make a great worker type.
Leyeswick Lucky Lady. We have
also bought a new 3yr old section C filly, by Leyeswick the Stag. As her
breeding suggests she is also a mover, and is running out with Gwyrfach
Gideon.

Pentrefelin Taliesin
I thought you would enjoy knowing that Minyfordd
Maid Megan was the United States Equestrian Federation Performance Cob
English Pleasure Champion this year. In addition to this she
accomplished many wins in hand and in performance in the eastern United
States to place Pentrefelin Taliesin in the
top ten performance sires in the nation. Many
thanks for this wonderful news, which just confirms Taliesin's fantastic
performance bloodlines. Minyfordd Maid Megan was a big winner in hand as
a yearling, for Milton Jones of the Minyfordd Stud. Thanks again and
congratulations to her owners in the USA ,Carolyn Bronson, Coldstream
Farm, Penn Valley, California.
Lampeter Stallion Show:
Teifi Judy Jazz,
our 3 yr old section D cob filly made her debut at Lampeter winning 3rd
prize, she was rather shell shocked but put up a good show. She is by the
lovely old good moving stallion Dimbeth Sion and out of Gwenllan Tirion, who
is full sister to Gwenllan Brynmor and Gwenllan Deio.
Pentrefelin Little Joe,
made his come back into the show ring at Lampeter and was 3rd in the 3yr old
section C colt class. He is very much like his grandsire Nebo Prince. His
new owners R.A Hughes of the Godebog stud produced him in fine form and are
looking forward to his first crop of foals this season.
